(Singer/Songwriter/Composer) Nathan Hale began writing and performing
music around age 15. Nathan played in multiple alternative rock and
worship bands as a bassist, guitarist, drummer, and vocalist. In 2002
he recorded his first original track in his college dorm room--and
things have never been the same since.
Writing, recording, and
performing music has become one of Nathan's greatest passions, and he
strives to share the gift of music and good art with everyone when he
performs.
As a lyricist, Nathan's goal to create simple but meaningful
poetry that guides the music.
As songwriter, his intent is to design
accessible, yet artistic songs that bring something more than
self-indulgence to the table.
Nathan's influences range from Palestrina to Pearl Jam, and from
Sondheim to the Smashing Pumpkins. The projects you'll find here at
Autumn Street Records focus on acoustic alternative sounds, however he
has also composed for brass quintet, string ensembles, and vocal
groups. Nathan blogs regularly about music, Christianity, and his more
formal composition projects at
